Great- then could CCT trained staff in the UK stop copying work done by non-CCT trained staff.... Why are CCT trained staff using nurse intravitreal injecting? The original paper in "Eye" was not written by someone CCT trained and is now copied by nearly every eye unit in the UK.
Why is the present editor of "Eye" the college journal not CCT trained?
The CCT is not a qualification and the assessments are not done in a standardised way or externally validated to any standard. Hence, someone in Europe with CCT may not have done very much cataract surgery and comes here to do learn cataract surgery with the CCT....
