Time had passed and he got to see the world change before his eyes. Spring, summer, fall and winter. Apparently it all comes back around to spring and does it all over again. Apparently you can experience this for upwards of 20 something cycles, although he couldn’t really conceive of what that meant. It just meant that could be a lot. But his mother warned him that there are many dangers in the world...and that you must be diligent to stay alive. You must help others as well, as there are bad creatures out there that want to harm others.

He could hardly understand why these bad other exist. Mother said they do not kill to eat like we do. They kill just to kill. He had been pondering this, but couldn’t seem to find a reason. He figured he would find one of these bad creatures and ask them someday. For now though, he will train like his mother wants him to. He does not mind. Viora is a diligent and strong woman. He looks up to her and father, and wants to be the best that he can be.

So today, he trains in running and jumping over objects. This means he will also be exploring a lot of Spirane too! He had explored some, but today he planned to go all sorts of places. He will simply go where his heart desires. It was a sorta of...freeing feel as the grey boy dashed off, weaving through trees but still staying on rather treaded paths. He would jump over rocks and smaller logs, always impressed that he could do it.

Until he came across one particularly large fallen tree. He was still but a pup, with growing limbs in that awkward stage. He stopped his jog and look at it. He wrinkled his nose as he sniffed it. It smelled like slow rot and fungus. It did not bother him though. He took a few steps back then, his blue eyes focused on the top of the log. He pushes himself down, wiggles his butt, and then tries to leap. He is only able to get his front paws on the top of the log. He growls as he kicks with his back legs, and ends up clawing his way to the top.
