Matianak listened as Thor spoke. A decent wolf, not one who might entertain dark thoughts, was the conclusion she was coming to. All the same, just about every wolf held some sort of purpose in Glorall. Even reasonable decent wolves were a necessity depending on the ends Eden might need to gain. It was the logical thought process in her mind. Not everyone who breathed the salty air would be cunning or manipulative. It also reminded her of the purpose she intended to pursue.
"Well then, we may just have to teach him otherwise," the young woman said with a wink. To Thor, it was meant to come across as a light-hearted jest. To her own mind, teaching young Triton to give little white lies would actually be an interesting venture. It would certainly make him more pliable and malleable to her ends.
She gave a slight shrug to Thor's admission have having not met Under. But at least he was aware of him. That said a great deal. "Of all the things he could be, that he most certainly is," she mused. But she left it at that. Let Thor be curious. How much was the man willing to prod, she wondered? After all, he had goals for himself from what his son had said, perhaps meeting fellow pack members was among those things. Matianak would hate to see her little friend's father fail if that were the case.
She tilted her head slightly. "Ah, that was no trouble. Young wolves like Triton are the future of the pack. To ignore him would be doing a disservice to both him and our home," she said with an unnaturally warm smile, for her at least. "You aren't keeping me from anything, Thor. I am actually waiting to hear from Eden to see what he might need of me for. Then, you might be interrupting," she teased, though it was more genuine towards Thor this time having seen his apologetic look. No, she wasn't going anywhere yet. But soon enough.
