Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Kajika

Kajika was not oblivious. Just because a wolf blended into their surroundings did not mean they were hidden. As he had learned his skills, the boy had learn just that. Being hidden from sight did not make you hidden from the other senses. Sound was just as important as sight. His ears flicked slightly as he quietly swung his path to a wide circle, well out of the other lurking wolf's sight before coming around behind her.

He watched quietly from afar, watching what he could over her moving silhouette. The brindle and white boy could hear her more than anything. The subtle snapping of twigs or a brush against grass or a bush. His cerulean gaze was critical. Having been hunted before, he wondered how oblivious she could be to what might lurk within the trees. At least when it had been him, he wasn't quite a year old yet. His ears flicked as he expertly trotted forward, coming up alongside the day-dreaming girl who didn't seem much larger than him now that he was closer.

His voice was quiet, but clearly heard in their close proximity. "Things hunt in the forest. You shouldn't be out here alone," he said. Kajika's intent wasn't to alarm, merely inform and perhaps convince her to a safer place, like the far side of the forest where one was closer to Taviora rather than close to Asteraia.
