Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Sparrow
And Dance for the Idiots

His family had grown worried, and Sparrow had too. Wren hadn’t been home for some time, and that was starting to be troubling. Like him, she too had wandered to the lands outside of Moladion, but like him home was here, where he was born, where his family was. He spent a year trying to learn tales of the outside worlds, but found his heart calling for home faster than even he realized. Soon he was prancing back seeing his family and had a wonderful reunion to which he and his father sung while he danced and turned about. They all had been together then. Now though Sparrow didn’t feel much like dancing or singing, or anything. He was worried. His father’s own worry had telegraphed it into him more strongly than before. Taliesin and him had gone out in search for her, while his mom and sister stayed to be there if she happened to come back.

Now what the young male was doing was exploring the lands in search of someone who might have seen her or had a clue of here whereabouts. Thus far the apply named boy found nothing and hadn’t even run into anyone since he started his search across Moladion. Though he had checked some sent trails and such along the way he none of it had yielded to much. He hoped though that his search around Aplos might give him something a little more. He smelled his father’s scent trail as well, it seemed he had made it this way though he wasn’t in the area exactly. His tail flicked lightly, not really feeling good about that discovery seeing as that meant his father didn’t have any luck to the east either… That probably meant she was in a pack or something, somewhere.

The rivers babbling was reaching his ears now, though he was feeling mildly more helpless than he had at the start. Looking around the tall mahogany, black and tan boy spotted someone. A female enjoying the water. He was never nervous, Sparrow was a social boy by nature, unshakable and certainly never uncertain in anything he ever did, he lightly jogged over to her, with all the grace that his mother’s family had given him even though he was mostly built after the image of his father.

”Excuse me, Miss?” He called. Unlike his father he did not have the sing-song voice, but it was higher pitched and polight. ”Do you have a moment, I’m looking for someone, my sister, have you seen any girls around here?” He asked his tone clearly hopeful as well as perhaps a bit desperate. He didn’t think he could get that lucky, but it was worth a shot right?
