PERSEPHONE

It had been some time since Persephone had talked with her ally in any detail, but she welcomed any of her allies in her home and in her conversations without question so long as they remained friends. Their last meeting alone had been somewhat tense, but time had passed since then and tempers had settled. More recently, they had run into each other, albeit briefly, when the dark truth about ‘Bob’ had been revealed and they had chased him from this territory.

She hoped this meeting would be much calmer than that one, at least.

Persephone answered Shamwari’s call, and wound her way through the trees swiftly towards his location. She was pleased to hear his familiar voice – his meeting was timed well, she had not long been home from Tinuvel, and she wanted to fill him in on her interaction with Warsaw, knowing Shamwari’s ties with Mariael as well as their own.

“Shamwari,”, she greeted with a small smile and a nod as she emerged from the trees, branches raking at her speckled coat. “It’s good to see you again – without any unwanted guests this time. Are you here to see me or your mother?”
