He can see her coming from the corner of his eye, a little honey blonde with mischief in those large hazel eyes. The right one stands out a bit more, a sparkling gold running throughout the hazel and Neptune knows the reason why. His little blessing is cursed with both the ability to know when others lie and the inability to tell one herself. Slowly he turns his head in her direction, lowering it to the little one's height. His own blue eyes sparkle as he gives her a look. "Ni-Ni, what's behind your back? Hmmm?"
Xebyni looks to him with a frown coming over her pretty round face. "Ummm....something." Her frown grows deeper as she knows she has been caught.
"What exactly is the something behind your back? The roan unicorn tilts his head, his eyes glinting as he knows he has her stuck.
The frown in her eyes turns into a narrowed glare as the little one makes her way to him. Without a warning, she jumps onto his leg and crawls her way up onto his back. Before she answers his question, little hands are quickly moving to snag another clump of his mane and tie ANOTHER ribbon into it. "IT'S A RIBBON!" comes the gleeful little laugh. Sure enough another ribbon has joined the two already tossed into his mane. This one a silver to go with the blue and black that he finds himself adorned with. Neptune holds back a small sigh, for as much as he hates them, he wears them with pride. They are a sign of Ni's love for him and a badge of honor.
"Ms. Abby gave it to me cause I helped her pick out the colors for the new baby blanket she is making! And THEN Mr. Abe came and brought me something too! She giggles with glee as she reaches into her pockets and pulls out the assortment of candies and sweets that the baker has given to her. Abe, the baker, and his wife Abby, the seamstress, have taken very well to Xebyni and Neptune, often giving them little things in exchange for help around their store.
Xebyni grins down at her familiar, running a little hand through his mane once the candy is put away. She keeps one out though and unwraps a sucker, quickly putting it into her mouth.
"Neb lebs go see fwens." Even with her mouth full of sucker, Neptune knows what she is trying to say and the two set off to search for others they may know.

They hadn't made their way too far from the marketplace when they caught the familiar site of another little orphan and his ragtag gang. Eurig was hard to miss walking around with a large ostrich and golden cat. Neptune was about to run over to them when he felt the gentle poke in his side. "Nep! I'm not -done- yet." Came the little pout from his bonded.
"Not done with what exactly?"
"The RIBBONS! DUH! Ms. Abby gave me some gold pieces and I wanted to make ribbons for Euri, Anei, and Ruby!" She moved to sit backwards, leaning her back against his neck. "One day, I'm going to be able to make pretty clothes for everyone to wear. Including you Nep!"
"Of course you will, princess! But can we please go say hi?" Neptune was ready to get a chance to hang out with more people. He loved people just as much as Xebyni did.
He heard the tiny little sigh before she placed a kiss upon his neck and crawled her way down to the ground. "Okay, I finished them. Beat you there!" She grinned before she took off running. When she was close enough, she moved around the rock and jumped onto Euri's back, hugging him tightly from behind and pushing him forward.
"ERUI! NEP AND I FOUND YOU!" She yelled happily as she hugged him. She released him from her grip and moved between him and Ruby, gently easing the bird to the side after hugging her around the neck. I made you all presents!" She grinned as she showed off the three differently styled gold ribbons. "I have one for you too Anei!" She gave a grin to the large cat.
"Xebyni! Don't you go too far from me." Neptune groaned before settling himself down on the ground, laying right behind his bonded.
