Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

NIYOL
male - no heart - no soul - taviora

Niyol was happy that his brother didn’t actually start getting close to the pirates, though really Niyol was a good tracker too… Sort of. He knew everything to look for what to do, but he used that knowledge more for reverse tracking… hiding his trail and running from those who were really good too. His family for example. Niyol prided himself that he could fall off the map for a few hours if he needed. Really what he lacked was the focus to track and stay on task, but that was true for most children his age. He wasn’t even through his first year yet and he had some skills that some adults didn’t even have more master. Sadly though it was all learned and applied to the wrong things. Try as his mother did to give him, or them in most cases, productive to do, she taught them everything she could and filled a lot of their free days with hunting, tracking, scouting, tree climbing, whatever she could to put energy to good-productive-use. Sadly after learning these Niyol tended to put them to use in these types of things. It was right up his ally to go hunting down pirates that took the stone of power from them.

Did Niyol really believe there were pirates? The short answer, yes and no. He believed Mochi that someone had stolen the stone, but if they were actually pirates he didn’t know. It could have been that Mochi was just calling them that cause they plundered their treasure. Still Niyol wasn’t sure where this Pirate had gone, and he would surely follow him. So when Mochi took the lead Niyol was quick to follow. Bounding along behind his sibling tail waving about as he easily kept right as his dark pelted bothers side. Not so much as pausing as they crossed the border into the freelands. They would be recollected in due time he was sure, they had to be quick about hunting these pirates down as fast as possible before any of the adults showed up.

Though really Niyol was admittedly a bit disappointed when the pack scent and worn path border passed under their paws only to find that there was more forest beyond. Somehow it felt… different, maybe it was because it wasn’t home, but it was all the sort of the same. It was still new and he looked up into the trees and saw how different and spread out they were getting. It was more open.

His brother paused and Niyol stopped right next to him, looking around and twisting his body in that weird contorted way he did as he looked behind them then in front, then to his paws that, while not as seeped down in as his heavier and slightly larger sibling, was sinking into the ground a little. ”Yeah I do.” He said crinkling his nose a bit. ”You don’t think we are close to that Iromar place do you? Isn’t it a swamp or something?” He asked before his ears and whole body twitched as something came to him, ”You don’t think the Pirates and the Iromar wolves are working together do you?!” Now that would be troublesome, that was like the one thing his family imparted to him was to stay away from Iromar if he took nothing else they said seriously to at least take that. Of course it made him curious to what was there. Then that and Asteraia too. Still if the pirates were from those packs Niyol thought even THEY would be in for a rough time.

if i am killed by hope i'll die happy
