live life to the fullest

There was almost a look of sympathy in the other mare's eyes when she talked about getting taken against your will. Creed watched her with curiosity. Had she been forced to go somewhere before? Creed had never had that happen to her but then her father had been a very protective stallion over his herd. He never let anyone stray too far from the rest of the herd so he could keep an eye on them. It was all for their safety, that much, Creed knew. But this was a whole new situation to her, being homeless and unprotected. The mare even offered to show her the way to the safer lands. Creed gasped and beamed at the offer, nodding her head. "Oh, I would love that. But I'd hate to take you away from anything you were already doing." Her ears flicked back and she ducked her a little in shame. She felt like she was interrupting because surely Persephone had come here on a mission and now she was delaying that mission.

As the mare turned in a different direction, Creed didn't hesitate to follow her example. She was still young after all and lived by following others. She didn't know if she'd ever have a leader bone in her body. Her own mother was more of a follower too. She wasn't very high in the ranks of the herd but she was happy with her life, Creed knew that much. She was more meek, a subordinate through and through. Creed must have inherited that from her. When she spoke of her bad try at adventure, Persephone seemed to disagree, saying it all did sound like an adventure after all. Creed snorted and shook her head, ears flicking toward the other mare. "Well I guess that makes me a champion of adventure then cause I've got the bags under my eyes to prove it." Her lips twitched again with humor.

Creed followed as the mare walked, moving up enough to walk side by side with Persephone but still giving the other mare the lead since she had no idea where she was going. One ear stayed trained on Persephone as they walked so she could listen, though the other swiveled alertly, ever aware of her surroundings. She told Creed she could find more adventure here and that she'd had her fair share. Creed smiled, glad to see the other mare wasn't a native of these islands. She felt more relatable already. Her ears pricked as she swished her tail against her flanks. "I bet you found your happily ever after though." She mused, her eyes twinkling almost with envy and curiosity. Persephone added that it depended on what kind of adventure you want. Creed snorted again. "At this rate, any that ends with a long nap is fine by me."
