His steps carried him away from the slightly snow covered cliffs of his now home pack to the soft forest that was quickly becoming covered in snow and ice. He didn’t mind though, but he wanted to cover himself in mud, but that would cause him to freeze and gain a sickness he didn’t want to bother his new pack with. So now he was just to set out like a walking field of flowers and hope that no one attempt to kinda him.
His paws carried him for a few hours before he found what seemed to be a frozen waterfall. A snicker left his lips as he bounded towards it. Never had he seen a beautiful site in a cold deadliness of winter. His paws were hurting due to not being used to walking on the cold ground and he looked for some place to rest. He spotted a rock nearest the edge of the waterfall and river bed that was surrounded by tall frosted bushes. perfect The sun rise wolf said in his head before he trotted over to it. Pouncing up onto the rock and curling up into a small bundle as best as his body could manage.
Small slivers of sunlight came down and beat off him helping to keep him slightly warm as he began to drift to sleep. His sleeps were never really peaceful anymore. Every night hed awake from a frightful sleep of running for his life. Running away from his friends and the tempest he cared deeply for. He felt nothing except that he was a solid coward that would never be worthy of seeing any of his friends ever again.
The dream started happening just as he drifted into his normal fitful slumber. Hid body shook on the rock and whimpers left his mouth, but they were ever so quiet that he would doubt even a mouse heard them. But what he did not expect was voices of others to awake him. They talked in loud tones as if they didn't know he was there, not that they had any reason to suspect he was. The rainbow quietly tucked himself off the rock, attempting to get himself away from the group. He didn't want to bother them if he could help it.
He really didn't need to be attacked either. That probably wouldn't we well for him because he wouldn't step back into his new home the pack until he was fully healed. But the blue lad was never very stealthy on his paws and snapped a twig as he walked away from them. Causing one to ask who was there. Should he respond? If he doesn't will they harm him?
Weighing his options he decided it was best for him to just walked towards the voices with his tail between his legs and his head down. ”Sorry I was not meaning to intrude… I was napping and your voices woke me, I simply was trying to leave without bothering you.” his voice came out in a whimper as he stood a distance from them but also where they could see he meant no harm.
