The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Siku

In Restless dreams I walk alone, narrow streets of cobblestone, neath the halo of a street lamp, I turned my collar to the cold and damp.

Siku lead the twins and his oldest inkeri towards their home. When the fog started to get heavier than normal. Siku had That something dangerous was coming to Harm them. So he raced all the wolves out of the Territory. In the chaos he had lost his love. And now he couldn't get that onyx she devil out of his head.

She had drugged the meet he had ate instead of his pups and it made him to the unthinkable. He would never have done that if he was in his right mind, but he knew that Olya wouldn't see it that way she would see it as all of what he ever said to her was a lie. Yet Siku knew he couldn't keep this a secret from her even if he tried.

His daughters were teens now and running around doing who knows what, yet he wanted to keep them safely tucked in his pack. A pack he had ran everyone out of in hopes to save their lives. His heart grew heavy with every step he took towards Graes, his heart hoping they could all return home so he could keep them safe. Be a better Alpha than he had once been.

The forest around him slowly started to turn into the rocky covered plains he grew to call him. The scent faint with the pack of his that had once been there. This broke his heart thinking that he hadn't been able to care for them as he should have.

He sat at the border of his pack for a moment and noticing the fog had gone back to normal and the air seemed fine. He sniffed a few more times before following the path between the rocks leading to where he held pack meetings.

His large frame bounded up the boulders that had stacked upon each other until he found his normal spot. Leaning his head up towards the skies, he let out a loud howl, reclaiming his home and calling everyone to come home. Hoping it would reach the others, if not he hoped word would spread that the alpha of graes had returned and that it was time to come back to the pack lands where he could start over, start fresh.
