Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Magpie
have courage
be kind

Though she was more than happy to be settled back in Iromar, Magpie had spent much of the last year in Taviora and honestly missed the woodlands a bit. She missed Forrest as well but she knew he would be happy and safe with Zelda and her pack. Besides, she could always visit so long as the alphess didn’t mind. She’d poked her head in briefly but was now just enjoying the crisp winter breeze as it whistled through the trees, carrying with it drifts of snow from the latest covering of snow. As long as her legs were, it made it a little easier to trek through the snow, but the weather in Taviora and the Encora Woodlands reminded her very much of her first winter in Iromar.

In her time in Moladion, Magpie had learned quite a bit, though perhaps one of her most cherished lessons was learning to play. Of course thinking of how she’d learned to play made her think of the wolf who had taught her to play. Lefteris had only been a part of her life for a short while but a very important part of it. With a little smile curling her maw, she slowed and looked around, spotting a nearby drift and eyeing it with a bit of speculation. It certainly looked deep enough.

With her winter coat filled in, she was more cream and white with her golden hue shining through on her face and legs and a bit across her back. Thick, silky fur that gave her a bit more bulk than she had. Decision made, Magpie crept through the snow as though stalking a bit of prey and as she neared the drift, she still. Opaline eyes bright, she gave a little wiggle and then launched herself into the air like a fox and dove into the pile of snow, all but her gold-touched wagging tail disappearing.
