Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

”I Can Bleed if I Want to Bleed; ”I Can Feel if I Feel the Need

_________________________________________________________________________

Missandei had been away from home for longer and longer periods of time. She had always been an adventurous wolf, wanting to see everything that the world had to offer her. There was just so much that she felt no matter how much she explored she’d never see the whole world. There was just so much of it. Before she had been sneaking away from her parents as a pup to go on adventures of her own. But on one of those adventures she had come across another. She often did not run into other pups. Usually they stayed close to home or within their pack. But there was another that was drawn to a life of adventure. Hondo had changed her life and made her current life possibly. The pair had met in a perilous adventure of having to save one another from murky demise. But at the end of the day it had ended with two young pups in love running away together. Most times young puppy love was just a passing crush. But there was something about Hondo that lingered with Missandei, and the two had gone on many adventures since.

When the pair of adventurous pups had first met, they had wanted to run away forever together. But in the end they had either been found by one of their parents or wandered back home. Their excursions grew longer and longer, especially as they aged. When Missandei first used to sneak off, her mother or father was often quick to find her and bring her home. But as she grew and became more independent, they let her wander further away and for longer periods of time. She wasn’t sure if Hondo had to deal with his parents still, it was not something they wanted to talk about. When they met up and went out they just wanted to have fun. Not to worry about home or parents or anything else. And that was exactly what they did. They would run and play and explore without a care in the world. Everything was right when she was out with Hondo.

Once more the duo was out and about, frolicking in the trees of the deep, dark forest. Missandei’s orange orbs looked to Hodno who was by her side as she ran through the trees. She playfully nipped at his legs, chasing and racing him to see who was faster. After a while they grew tired, and realized that it was the middle of the night. She looked up to see that the light of the moon and stars had been lighting their night. They were far from home, and she knew that she didn’t want to make the journey back tonight. With a yawn she asked if he wanted to find a den to sleep in for the night. When her companion agreed they began to search for one. Making even some thing as simple as finding a den a game. Who could find it first? Who would find the best place to sleep? Everything they did was a playful competition. Eventually they found one that they both agreed was perfect for them. It was empty but they pulled some leaves and brush in to pad the floor and make it comfortable. Within a few minutes of curling up next to her best friend, she had fallen asleep.

Most nights Missandei didn’t have trouble sleeping. Sometimes she had trouble drifting off to sleep, but once she was out she was dead to the world. Usually nothing could wake her, at least not easily. But something was different tonight. She was sound asleep and dreaming happily when she was suddenly waking up. It was as if something was controlling her mind, waking her up against her will. Sleepy eyes slowly opened and looked around. The first thing she saw was Hondo, who was also sleepily waking up. Why had the two of them woken up together at the same time? It was when she looked towards the entrance of the den that she had a clue, there was another in their midst. There was a full grown vampire staring them down. Missandei instantly recognized him for what he was because of her mother. Macaria was also a creature of the night, but Missandei had never been afraid of her mother. But now she was afraid. This creature had a look on his face that she had never seen Macaria have. He was hungry. It made her blood run cold. Shakily getting to her paws, Missandei rose up, trying to be braver than she felt. ”Go away, this isn’t your home.” A half-hearted growl escaped her as she tried to confront the beast of the night. Normally the young femme never wanted her parents around, but now she wished for her mother more than ever. She would know exactly what to do to handle this vampire.
