The other alpha takes it all in stride when she informed him that she didn't know Latin. He gave a nod and his expression remained open and curious which she took as a good sign. She didn't know how others would feel about Demons being back in power, anyway. If things went her way, perhaps some day in the future they would but not until her and her own offspring hopefully had their way to bring the Iromar name back into a better light than it had under it's former predecessors. She didn't know how many Demons still lived in Moladian but had to hope that Ruby wasn't the last of her kind. Maybe most of Moladian were glad to have them gone and now, for what she heard, those of the Angel line seemed to be everywhere. She had nothing against them and their line. She just felt it was unfair somehow that the Angels got to prosper and the Demons all seemed to fade and die off.
It was like a game Fate was playing just to see how badly she wanted to win. Well, she was determined so she'd see how far that got her. When she mentioned Aithne and Andras, he agreed that they were great teachers and gave her a compliment. She wasn't expecting such open words from him, her brow twitching a little in amusement but none the less, she smiled in response. "Hopefully it continues to do so." When she gave her name, he gave his own as Eden and she took it to memory. Then he said that he had no issues with Iromar and asked if he could do anything for Iromar. The turnaround surprised her and she was thoughtful for a moment. "You would be one of the few, then. It seems the recent history of the pack holds it in a darker shadow than some others are willing to risk. A fair trade off should be more fair, I think. I have warriors and spies in abundance though not so much for anything else. We have younger minds at play now so if you ever have a chance to send someone to teach the seemingly forgotten arts of diplomacy and healing, I would be grateful. Iromar will do the same in teaching for you if anyone in Glorall has a thirst for fighting or spying. I would also like to show the younger wolves their options as they get older and seek out a home of their own. I don't want any of them to feel obligated to stay in Iromar, though I'd welcome it if that's what they want. If it would be alright, I'd like to sent a caretaker as chaperone to bring some of the pups around come summer or fall. You or any of your trusted wolves are welcome to show them around or just to escort the party, of course. Would you be open to any of this?"
She tilted her head and pricked her ears, waiting politely for Eden to process all that she'd just said, wanting to make sure none of it was out of line. He seemed almost surprised about something before telling her he thought it was good that she desired peace with other packs. At his last question of whether she expected resistence, she couldn't help but smirk. "You'd be surprised how many hold grudges for past transgressions even when a new alpha takes the reins. It seems my predecessor kept himself quite busy and the other alphas on their toes. Some have not forgotten and seem more hesitant for a treaty with Iromar now but overall, I think I've been more surprised with how welcoming other alphas have been." She smiled, thinking of Zelda in Taviora. Her gaze zeroed in on Eden again, new curiosity setting in as she raised a brow. "I believe you are one of the first not to have a past with Iromar which tells me you either kept your head down or you picked the not so favored side."
She didn't come right out and ask which it was, knowing he could straight up deny her an answer or even lie. She didn't know a lot about Blackthorne which she hoped to remedy all in good time. His alliance with the alpha of Asteraia was more public since they went on a hunt together but there could also be some not so public connection with Glorall that she had missed. Eden didn't have to tell her anything and could just leave her guessing. It wouldn't hurt him either way.
