A whole year has gone by since her daughter and herself were left alone in the Dunes. Not many souls passed by Salem in their spare time or even thought to make this hot climate their home. They were truly left alone when Capricorn died. Her eyes trail down to the red blanketed filly walking the dunes beside her. Libra was growing beautifully and quickly, it seemed. She was happy her short-lived romance had a good effect on her child and her outlook on life.
They cross borders into the Desert which had gone quiet just before the death of their lead stallion. It seemed there was no change, but they did come across some tracks in the sand. They didn't look fresh, but they also didn't look very old. They came across more tracks that was barely visible, but it looked like multiple horses instead of just one set. The tracks varied in sizes from a medium sized horse to small like a foal's. These findings brought mother and child to the desert shore.
Desirie gasps as she sees three figures in the sea traveling towards Salem. The small group was traveling to a spot down the shore from where they stood and for now the red dun mare and her red blanketed daughter decided to stay where they were. They did not know who these strangers were or if they were a sign of hope or misfortune.
