She hastily leads her baby sister out of the Lagoon and to the long stretch of field known as the commons. She knew the filly wouldn't be able to travel far just being born, but she had faith someone would find them. Someone good had to find them and help them escape this madness their mother has created.
It was very early morning and the filly was already falling behind. Galexia pushes her head on the little girl's rump, but she could only make it so much further. The thick morning fog makes most things impossible to see, but a figure appears up ahead. Galexia stops suddenly, shushing her sister quiet, and putting her nose to the sky. She knows this scent! Green eyes trace over the skinny form of the buckskin stallion. "Dad!" She exclaims and rushes towards him. Her neck stretched out to meet him first in a loving embrace.
"Please save me from the Lagoon. Mother has gone crazy and trusted us with a stranger!" Her breathes are heavy with adrenaline as she tries to explain herself to her father. "I want to be with you." She squeezes out with emotion as her head digs into the buckskin's shoulder. With a gasp, she pulls away and takes her baby sister into her sights. She had almost forgotten about her. Galexia walks over to the filly and reaches out her nose to comfort her. "Dad, this is my sister." She does not say who the father was because honestly, she did not know herself. |
