Anger continues to rise in Rowena. The violence in Elvira is a side of her daughter, Rowena never knew she had. There are violent personalities on both sides of the family, with Osiris himself, and even Rowena's parents. Maybe Elvira couldn't escape an aggressive edge. It's just a damn shame that she seems to have born without brains as well.

"I don't need to tell you everything I do. We're both adults. Hell, I didn't even know if or when I was going to challenge Osiris until the opportunity arose and I took it, and I didn't know I was going to be staying the forest. I can't tell you what I'm doing if I don't even know." Rowena snaps at Elvira. This whole argument is absolutely absurd. Rowena doesn't owe Elvira any explanations. It would be normal for a filly to leave a mare's side, yes, but Elvira is no filly, and she wasn't at Rowena's side. She had already left Rowena's side when she was traded to Bjorn.

Rowena rolls her eyes, a look of both exasperation and outrage. "You figured out where I was just fine on your own. You're here, aren't you?" She spits. This island chain isn't that big, and Rowena had no intentions of leaving the islands. If Elvira wanted to find her, it wouldn't take a whole lot to figure out where she is. Elvira is a big girl. She can figure things out on her own. Her presence here is proof enough of that. Elvira is making a big deal out of nothing, and in doing so, she is dismantling a relationship that had once been good.

Rowena feels the rush of air toss her feathers, and her hooves fail to make contact. All four feet land firmly upon the earth, and Rowena wastes no time backpedaling into Elvira. Elvira's hooves beat Rowena near her withers, but she continues to shove herself backwards into Elvira. Rowena hopes to knock the younger mare off balance, now that she stands precariously on two legs.

"Wise to control your temper, daughter. Look where such behavior has left your father." Parents do indeed set examples. Circe had been unable to let go of her hate, and in the end, it consumed her. Rowena saw where the path her mother walked led, and chose a different path for herself. Elvira has the option to do the same.
