Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

THE HERE AND NOWALPHA OF GLORALL

He heard whispers that Eden had stepped down as alpha and given the throne to his son, Elohim. There wasn't a pack meeting or anything called that Thor knew of so he could only speculate at this time but wondered if there would be an official announcement of some sort. What would Eden do? Would he just step back as an advisor to help Elohim rule or would he leave Glorall completely to go do something else? Thor had to admit, he would miss Eden if he left. Though they didn't speak much, when they did speak, it was usually quite meaningful and came at times when Thor needed advice the most. Eden believed in him even when he didn't believe in himself. After Samia and Inanna left, it took him a long time to move on and get back to finding his purpose in life. Now he heard rumors that there were sightings of his sister in Glorall again and he could only wonder at the truth behind it. Would she seek him out or would he have to track her down himself?

Today was a day of pondering but it was also a day for fishing. What else was there to do? Thor had done some border patrol earlier this morning so now he was getting hungry. Sure, he had plenty of food stocked up but he wanted something extra fresh, or maybe he just needed to be doing something to take his mind off things. Would he still have a rank if the whispers were true? Did he need to seek out Elohim or would he find Thor? All these questions and not enough answers. Thor had tried talking to his son Triton about it but Triton seemed more depressed recently too. Finally he got his son to open up to him and found out not only had Triton found his imprint but she had disappeared and somewhere along the way after, Triton felt the severing of their bond. He didn't know what it meant and it was all Thor could do to keep his son from disappearing into the wilderness outside of Moladian himself cause he wanted to go find out if she was dead or just gone.

Thor just wanted his son to be happy but it was starting to look like they were cursed when it came to love and relationships. Of course Thor had known his fair share of happiness with Inanna and he wouldn't trade that for anything. She was his puppyhood crush and the love of his life and no one would ever replace her. But he could be useful in other ways. He would watch Triton grow and some day his son would be lucky in love too. He couldn't wait to see that day. Creeping slowly into the ocean water, Thor made himself comfortable in a shallow pool and waited for the fish to get curious enough to investigate. That would be when he'd make his move.
