PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

“Captives?” she repeats, drawing her head back in confusion. What had the black mare said to her in the Falls, only a season ago, before she had come to realize how much more beautiful her world was about to be? Rhadra blinks but can do little to remove the dreamy smile on her face as she is distracted, again, joyfully, by her good fortune. “How good to meet you, Collision. I am Rhadra. I live here... voluntarily,” she laughs, then makes an effort to smooth her expression to something more serious. Perhaps he, being a captive, will not find her joke so funny.

“What is the Lagoon?” Rhadra asks. “I don’t understand this idea of band stallions being held captive by a collection of mares. But then, this land has been full of strange from the start.” It is very similar to where she’s come from, and yet very different. Little Talya, a pale mare draped in seaweed, the dark lady of the Peak who never once let down her guard.... Rhadra searched for a herd for a long time and nearly believed herself to be a part of one upon meeting her handsome bay stallion— and yet, it is here on the mountain with her spotted friend Kestral that she has felt the strongest sense of community. Rhadra has perhaps been a bit lax in meeting the others who call the Peak home. Perhaps having any idea of what the inhabitants here are like would explain much to her.
