The air was cooler now since winter had settled again. The waters surrounding the islands had become frigid, but luckily aallotar hadn't needed to wade the surf the commons this time. Instead it was a short trek from where she had been for a short while. When she had first arrived on the islands, she had been greeted so quickly by a plucky little colt. Thinking of the spotted boy makes aallotar chuckle to herself, her breath weaving circles around her muzzle. She missed him a little, though she'd never admit that to him. .

The steel grey mare seemingly floats across the meadow as she breaks the treeline. Despite all efforts though, she can't keep the muck from clinging to her legs. The ground is damp from recent snowfall and grass is sparse leaving more mud than greenery for her to navigate. She sighs to herself in mild frustration at the grooming she's going to have to do later. She slows as she finally catches sight of an open patch of grass to graze on. Her ears swivel atop her head as she lowers her muzzle to graze, her eyes not leaving her surroundings.

There is a certain musk that hangs heavily in the commons. This is a frequented meeting ground for others, primarily where leaders whisk away mares to their homes for safe keeping or slavery. Whichever way you wanted to look at that. It's quiet today, there aren't many birds singing, but the slap of the ocean can be heard from afar. Though aallotar had kept to herself all this time, she could feel loneliness was creeping in.
