Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It had been some time since his talk with Israfel and he looked forward to seeing what the future would hold for his sister and her mate. He was sure they were going to make great parents. When the familiar scent of Israfel hit his nose, he couldn't help but get up and stretch before heading out into the openness of what was left of Glorall. The water was still high in most places, but he knew all the semi-dry paths so he skirted around the packlands, trying to follow the trail. A sudden voice from behind him had him pausing. "Where you going, old man?" The voice made him smirk as he turned his head, blue eyes falling on his son's figure as Triton trotted up beside him, nudging him with his shoulder as they set their pace together. "I smell Israfel. Figured I'd see how he and Samia were doing while he's in Glorall."

Triton nodded. "Good idea. Mind if I come with? I never got to meet the guy who knocked up my aunt." Of course, his eyes were twinkling as he said it and Thor only chuckled. They continued along until Triton pointed out the two figures moving along the shoreline. Thor nodded, confirming that the big figure was indeed Samia's mate, but the smaller one...his heart leapt. Could it be his grandchild? Throwing his head up, he sent up a bark to Israfel to let him know they were there before him and Triton trotted toward them. Triton had a goofy smile on his face as they approached, his gaze flitting from one wolf to the younger one as they stopped before them. Thor dipped his head in greeting. "Hello again, Israfel. This is my son, Triton. He wanted to meet you. Who is this?" His eyes lit up as his expression softened, looking down at the young male.
