Aries
You will never forget

Life was changing rapidly for the young stallion. His father decided to leave the islands and his mother couldn’t be without him so she followed. His younger brother Taurus was too young to be left alone (plus I think he wanted to go) so he went with them. The only sibling he had left was Scorpio and she was too busy figuring out where she wanted to be. He was afraid she would leave too in time. His only option was to get to know the Desert herd properly and decide if this was where he wanted to be. Mother had always praised Salem and explained to her children that their granddam had all her children here. She explained they were the only bloodline left to their grandsire as he only had one child, their mother. If Libra had traveled to see the homeland of her father, or seek out her mother who left the islands years ago, he could understand that. Maybe Scarecrow wanted to do the same. He could have gone and got to see what really lies out there, but for some reason he was stuck here.

Aries did not want to leave behind his birth home or the place his family got together as one. He wanted to get their line going strong on these sands and maybe even take his father’s place in the Desert herd. Time would tell if he was ready. He wasn’t sure completely if he could even be a second to a stallion with as much experience as Cain. The young sooty chestnut was deep in thought just touring the Desert when suddenly he froze. Looking past the bright sun that cause his eyes to squint, he could see a massive stallion staring back at him with rage in his eyes. At first it didn’t dawn on him that this stallion was Cain. Fear rose in his mind as his gut begin to twist. Please don’t hurt me, he chanted over and over. The draft paint began to charge. A squeal pulls from his lips as he turns and dashes away. Thankfully his long warmblood legs were able to carry him quickly to the beach.

Aries skids to a halt and turns sharply to face the stallion charging him. ”I do not wish to leave! Please!” He stomps a hoof in the sand and pulls back his curved ears to face the stallion head on. It was then he realizes just who the stallion was. ”Cain?” He questions, relaxing his posture.
