Clearly she had not thought this through as well as she should have. Atleast, that is the opinion that comes to mind now as the young fiery colt turns his attention away from the wandering mare and focuses his gaze heavily on her. The first thrums of uncertainty begin to form in the back of her mind, especially when he lays his ears back and fixes her with a hard stare of his own. Truthfully, she had not planned this little interference out, perhaps if she had, she may have turned tail and fled instead of trying to intervene where she knew that she could offer no help. Mother had always warned her that one day her brash actions and words might get her into trouble… she just did not expect that day to be today. Or at the hands of a youthful colt with no manners.

He lunges towards her in an instant, causing her small dished head to rise high to avoid the onslaught of his parted jaws. White rims her blue eyes as she squeals her defiance at his firm nips on her shoulder. ”Ouch! That hurt!” she says, stomping her dark hoof into the white sandy beach. ”Mine…” the only word that rumbles from his lips is enough to drench what fear she had and replace it with something more akin to the fire that burned from his fiery coat to his determined green eyes. ”No! NO!” she barks, shifting her weight to swing her rump around into him firmly. Small ears disappear amid the silken threads of her alabaster mane as she kicks her heels out at him. Being the soft hearted creature she was, she had no intentions of maiming him, thus she put very little effort behind her kick, but it is enough she hopes that her point might come across. Slender legs are put into motion as she tries to place more space between them, arching her curved neck to fix him once more with a steady glare. ”Didn’t your parents teach you any manners? You don’t even know who I am!” she snaps, baring her teeth at him in threat.
