Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Vitam impendere vero. (Rehoboam)

DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO TRUTH.

He was running out of time and it was itching him in the wrong way. Nahawi’s blue eyes were frantic as his hooves moved over the Lagoon marsh, his breathing heavy as he stumbled over roots. He had not heard back from Tyr yet via Snapdragon and that moment with Garmr before had the red dun searching with his breathing labored for Rehoboam. He needed help and once again he was not afraid to ask for it as he pushed through roots, brambles, and mud to go find the one horse on this island that might be able to help him.

Lifting large hooves so he could jump a certain spot in the Lagoon, Nahawi sailed over the half drown root of a tree before he once again pushed through the mud that was knee deep in some places. His long red tail trailed behind him with mud sticking almost all the way to the base of it as his mouth quivered with saliva foaming at the corners. He had been grinding his teeth and causing this froth, showing his inner turmoil as he went in search of Rehoboam.

Tugging and pulling, Nahawi finally had himself out of the mud and soon enough on a flat piece of ground. He curled for a moment before pulling in a deep breath and gave a call to the stallion he was searching for. His sides heaved up and down as he tried to catch his breath, but there was no way to do that in this moment. He could careless if any of the brothers saw him moving as he was right now. It was as if Nahawi was cursed by a witch, but instead he was in trouble, very big trouble, and he needed help desperately.
