Silence filled the air and it had Launch even more terrified. She had been hoping that someone would answer her already, but instead everything was silent. It was when she heard hooves through the marsh that her ears perked up faintly but the terrified expression on her face stuck. She had been ripped from her home and now she was being tossed around everywhere and she wanted to just go back home to Paradise and cuddle her child into the night. She had been peaceful, so why had she been taken to the Lagoon?


Huffing a breath, she listened to the stallion before giving him a dip of her head, her ears slowly tucking to her head. “My name is Launching Tide’s, but Launch for short.” Shaking her head, the mare listened more before giving a sad smile, her eyes holding back tears as she held her foal closer. “I belong to Paradise. Snapdragon thought we were safe, but somehow I got taken anyways.” The bay mare was confused, the emotion showing on her face with her tail seeming tucked tight to her rump.


“What happened to the ‘no trinkets’ thing? Snapdragon told me Nahawi set everyone free but theres still stallions battling and raiding.” Launch had not seen it with her own eyes, but she had watched Snapdragon get angry many times over this past season. It made no sense to her, but she was not a lead and never would want to be. “I… I just want to go home Sir Rehoboam… is there anything that can be done?” She hoped he would get the boss to let her go.
