Pulling himself from the ocean, Nahawi blinked his blue eyes and looked up towards the sky. Dark storm clouds filled the land and begged to stanch him more than he already was, as if they knew he came on a purpose far worse than what he should be doing. Their dark bellies faintly rumbled off in the far distance and those lion-like roars had Nahawi tucking his ears tight to his head and moving forward swiftly.

Lifting large hooves, the Mustang stallion weaved through the land until his feet hit a trail. The scents on it were washed down with rain, but they all led to the destination that he was heading to and he followed them. His pink nostrils faintly fluttered as they took everything in, the land muted by rain. Normally he could guess the genders of others from their perfume and cologne, but currently all he could scent was horse. Nothing was separating any others from the masses and it had him faintly frustrated.

Slowly entering the meadow, Nahawi flicked his ears forward finally. The land had horses spotted all through out and he could remember the times he spent here with his daughter all those months ago. Shoving those thoughts away, Nahawi tilted his head and let his gaze land upon a mare with curly hair. Scanning her coloring that was similar to his own, Nahawi grew curious. Moving forward, the stallion gave her a whisker as he drew near.

“Greetings miss.” He called, his voice trying to sound over the distance. He hated yelling so when he got close enough, he gave her a soft smile. “My name is Nahawi.” He had never seen her before but he didn't want to assume she was a new horse to the islands like he once had been.
