Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Dracana watched in silence as Fate began the climb. Her green eyes were focused more on the pup's paw placement more than anything. She said nothing in regards to the sounds made with the young female's steps. Smiling was a rarity for Dracana, but a small one managed to creep across her muzzle as Fate discovered how to step without a sound. The gray female nodded as Fate got closer and turned away.

The fae began to climb higher. This time, she did not stop. Dracana needed to get them to a higher elevation where the air began to thin. The thinner air would require Fate to learn to control her breathing. In the controling of her breath, it would be easier for Fate to go long distances without stopping because she would be able to keep oxygen flowing through her body.

Dracana only looked back once or twice before reaching a much high ledge that she used for her own personal training sessions in the past. Once there, she could feel the change in the air pressure because of the altitude. The she-wolf stayed near the edge, watching Fate continue her ascent.
