your pale skin is a razor sharp wire;
so i place these scales over my eyes;

Epos had been far from naïve. She had studied as a child such things as war and economical depressions and different historical figures and the lives that they had lived. Although reading from books and seeing to different places that had turned to rebel that had once been such extraordinary places of history was different from actually being there. War had still scared her but it was her duty to try and find ways to break it down and not let it happen. She was deserving of her diplomat position but to be called the highest ranking member was something she viewed as a fluke. She didn’t understand how she had obtained it. She knew no one, and even less about the war. And to even be elected into parliament seemed to confuse her even worse.

Epos just didn’t understand, didn’t know why and in a way she wanted answers but didn’t know where to find them.

Little did she know that perhaps she did deserve them. Epos was an intelligent individual and took pride in the things she aspired towards. One day she would realize but for now she was stuck in a world of ‘whys’. Her confidence was nonexistent and needed to get herself back into her independent and confident state of mind. Braebuck followed her trying his hardest to help her along the way but failed more then he succeeded.

Neither of them completely understood.

Epos had never killed anyone. She was skilled in archery and worked relatively well with a small dagger that was always sheathed on her belt for close combat. She thought herself fortunate having never to use either weapon. Warfare wasn’t her thing but knew if it came down to it she would help out where ever she was needed. The loyalty she felt towards Set-Merut was wavering. Not because she wanted to go to the castle under Gwythr’s rule but she felt as though she might have been better off in her own neutrality. To be honest, Adia has scared her, scared her into choosing a side. So she did. Freedom over enslavement. But that didn’t she regretted her decision just wondered what it would have been like if she hadn’t chosen.

Epos needed help; she just didn’t know it yet.

Epos wandered the castle. She felt as though she had too seeing as though she had never been here before and should familiarize herself with the grounds. She was a part of the ‘team’ and needed to know where everything was, at least for her own peace of mind. Her travels came to an end when stood at the opposite end of a long black corridor. She gazed down it and wondered if she should of turned back. But something caught her eye. And Epos being the most curious of creatures had to walk towards it. The darkness drew close as she lined herself along the wall and peered through a crack where candle light could be seen. She didn’t see anyone and turned around to see if anyone was coming, of course there wasn’t. Opening the door further she looked in awe at the place. It was amazing. It had been a long time since she had stepped foot in a chapel. Walking down the aisle she didn’t notice the man kneeling at the altar. She was far too busy looking at the architecture. She was maybe about 10 feet away from him before she noticed him. A gasp escaped her as she put her hand over her mouth. She held it there for a moment before she started to apologize. “I am so sorry, I didn’t realize anyone was in here. I’ll leave you be.” She began to turn around and high tail it out of there.

level III minister of set-merut
