Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The brute had hear rumors, he knew it was to be this way for years, but when Seg fell Asch thought it was all over. He had stayed in the outskirts of Fire Pack, hidden undetected merely because he was smothered in Pack scent there. Ma'Kya Asch had no clue where the brute had gone after his father's defeat in Fire Pack. He was so proud to be the prince his father hated, but blind to it though it was clear to the trapped brute. Most of his life he was trapped, only allowed to go so far and for so long before he was dragged back. And when it was over.... When finally his captor was gone, he went home, but he didn't belong there. His mother she had had not one but two litters of pups while he was gone. He was replaced, she didn't miss him or know where he was, she maybe had looked for him when he was younger but by now had long since given up. He didn't even have the family mark, a feather necklace, anymore. Taken from him and burned... Thus, Asch stayed in that den between the Vocanic Wastelands and Fire Pack, until he got the quickly growing beast behind him, Render. The Ravin gryth dragon needed to much food to simply stay in those barren lands. He could hunt every hour and not sate the beasts hunger. He wondered why it was this way, but she ate and ate, and Asch only hoped that soon she could hunt for herself. Already she was the size of a Lynx even though she wasn't really that old. Sharp talons and beak, he would be teaching her to hunt soon enough though it was apparent while they traveled that it would not be hard and maybe unnecessary. Render had flown over his hunts and watched him she showed all the signs that she knew what she was doing as she was prowling about looking for anything she could kill and eat. Asch wondered why he had taken the egg now, but Render was the only company he had that he wanted to have, for a very long time...

The brute was largely built, well muscled because of training Ky had forced him through so that he could live through whatever it was that Fire was planning when Seg was alpha. His fur also was thin, lining his body in a tight coat rather than being fluffy. Green eyes peered out from the mostly black furred brute. He was handsomely marked as the brute he unknowingly approached was nearly his twin in appearance. Though Asch was only around the size of their father, Vendetta had grown bigger than that. The black, white and red marked brute was here on a mission though, he was seeing exactly what these Fire pack members were up too. It may have been a little late, he heard war was raging on Ice, but why? For Seg it was revenge why would this Alpha conform when he had nothing to gain from it? Maybe there was something to gain. Asch was no fool, something had tempted them here besides petty things like revenge. He wondered what. For the life of him he didn't know the real reasons.

The thin furred brute paused, it was hard to tell among all the Wind Gale and Fire scent but there was something else. "Render, fly." The brute said, the red and black beast didn't say anything simply obeyed and took off from the trees, climbing into the skies and quickly vanishing from the emerald gaze of Asch. Asch held still for a time, lowering his body, though he had no fear of being scented, as his scent was that of Fire, it didn't mean others would investigate. His mitternacht enhanced ears could indeed hear something and nose, smell something. The very muffled sound of paws on snow, grown with fur but only the strongest of ears could hear it, the smell of his home his family who had long forgotten him. Asch moved towards it, not as trained as Vendetta in the snows but still the life lessons and the many times trying to get up here as a pup had been enough to train him to the snowy grounds. It was then that the brute rounded around, looking for the source of the scent. He hid well. He shouldn't have been surprised... They were much more acclimated to this than Asch was, not by choice, he was only a pre-teen when it had all occurred. Looking around with emerald eyes, Asch could tell he was close, but still there was much area to search. The brute could only hope that maybe they would remember him and come out. But with the scent of fire and missing his necklace, if they knew him who knew how they would react to him anymore. He kept his defenses up however. Just in case.
