Despite all that had happened, it had only made her stronger. Physically. Mentally. All of it. The strength in which she manipulates her bow, bends it to her will and releasing the arrows with such vigor and such elegance. She had never fancied herself as more of a warrior, she was a hunter. Plan and simple, or so, that was what she told herself when she attempted her meager attempts at sleep during the wee hours of the night. Sleep did not come smoothly for her anymore. The constant worry of her mind kept her wake and weary. Hopefully, that would all change. No longer the depressed girl that she was, it still lingered peaking its ugly head into her mind in its darkest of times. But thoughts about Larka and Jensen helped to overcome it. She was a strong woman her spring green eyes only rimmed the intelligence that riddled around her head. She was extremely bright, diplomatic, and even tempered. She was never spiteful or ill tempered; she was always one to keep her composure.

Even as her back leaned against the heavy door with she couldn’t help but stare at him with wonder. This was not just her king, this was not just Shamans king, this was a kind she had read about many times on earth. A king that she had seen many movies about. Whether or not they depicted him as he truly was hardly mattered to her anymore because he was right here masked in flesh and flowing with blood. He was alive, that was all the truly mattered.

Epos was not the religious type, even on earth she could hardly find it possible to believe in a god, but she just like most other fairies believed in their divine creatures. Humans on earth had believed in just one god, and this was something that had obviously been carried from Arthurs previous life and into his current one. Though she did not judge. Everyone had a right to their own personal beliefs, even fairies. She mostly believed in the art of survival and thriving as a whole. Nothing to her was right or wrong, everything just had a different take on the world from one person or religion to the next.

His silver eyes came to her as the candle light flickered about his face. It gave appeal even as he delicately curved a side of her lips into what most would of called a half smile. Stepping away from the door as he gestered towards the bench they that had sat on once a long time ago drinking wine and him telling her he was not name Arthur because of the uncanny resemblance he had to Arthur in the olden days, but because he was in fact him. She could still remember the feel she had as surprise sprung quickly on her face. A smile wasn’t what formed on her lips her face was stern but friendly. Her voice was light but holding an air of respect. “And I was hoping to speak with you King Arthur.” She sat down, crossing her ankles over one another as the last words he spoke rand in her head. Hands folded on her lap she spoke again, “Only a fool would deny a job offer from the king.” This time she laughed lightly as a smile began to weave itself on her face. “It seems as though my searching for you was not in vein. Especially since I’ve postponed a family reunion to find you.” Her words did not hold any blame, they were in fact kind and light, the dedication she had to serve Shaman and their king was evident. She needed a job, and that was why she had come to him. “For old time sake, shall we break out the wine while you tell me the details of this job?” The truth was she needed the mental break, if only briefly, she needed a touch of friendship, for even the most dedicated of woman could not fend off the loneliness forever. After all, Arthur was probably the closest thing she had to a friend these days, besides her family, and besides the ever allusive Adia. There were not many ears or shoulders that were accustomed to be need by her.
