Reasons for my pessimism about many of the alleged sightings posted here.

Just an explanation. I have run this board now for 8 years and the only real proof of a mountain lion in New England as far as I am concerned was the cat killed by the car in Ct a year ago.And don't get me wrong! There is nothing I would like better than to see a viable breeding population of Mountain Lions here in New England. This article has nothing to do with mountain lions but it explains in length about lying on the internet and why people do it which is why I remain such a skeptic without absolute proof that some of these alleged incidents are real. Thanks!
