I have been following this interesting conversation. I used to think it would be very easy to tell the difference between a M.L. and a Bobcat. Not so anymore! I never knew a Bobcat's tail could be 10" long - although it is still a long way from a M.L's.
I also never realized they all look differently at different stages of their lives;babies and full grown,etc. I've been wondering...could it/would it be possible for a Mountain Lion and a Bobcat to mate???
