We were at an outdoor show today and the MA fish and game had a table setup. They had cards showing different animal tracks. My son asked, "Why don't you show what mountain lion tracks are" and he smiled and said "because we don't have any mountain lions in Massachusetts." A woman almost jumped across the table and said "that is not true, I am just over the border in Connecticut and I saw one. It crossed right in front of me and had an incredibly long tail." He immediately went into the pitch of how people see tags that they think are one thing but are really not. He then however did say that there have been cats hit in new England, but of course they were escaped from the zoo or someone's pet. I almost laughed out loud! It seemed like such a rehearsed "pitch". Thought you all would enjoy that! Replies:
