Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

“N-No… it can’t be… that… that doesn’t make sense…”

The white and turquoise striped brute muttered to himself as he scrambled up the treacherous mountainside. He was confused- that is; more confused than he normally was- he had not been expecting to come across something that made so little sense to him.

“I must have made a mistake.” He asserted firmly, nodding his head to confirm this. Yes; that was right, he must have mistaken someone else’s scent for that, and that was why he thought he had caught scent of his mother and father together on the land’s namesake after all of those years. His father’s scent was almost definitely his own; he knew the mostly black wolf still resided on the mountain, when he wandered he often crossed an area that Xenon had been in a few hours prior, missing him only by the movement of the sun. But his mother was different- after that snowstorm that had separated him from her and his siblings, his mother’s scent had completely disappeared.

That being said, if there was one scent that Tundra could remember, it would definitely be hers…

An exasperated sigh escaped the spacey brute’s maw, if he was right (which, by the way, he was certain that he wasn’t), then why now? Why would she come back now, after all this time? It didn’t make sense to him.

“No, forget it, it’s just too confusing…” he murmured, pushing the thoughts to the back of his mind and pressing on. He was going to complete this journey, having heard that there were precious stones hidden at the mountain’s peak. He really was his mother’s son, sometimes.

He wasn’t entirely sure what made him change his course; the ghost of something- someone that he was close to seemed to be calling to him, but he was so lost in thought that he just wasn’t sure what. But soon, a familiarly bright form came into sight, and his cold, icy blue eyes widened and gained some sort of spark. He picked up his pace, his paws carrying him quickly- yet not at all gracefully- to where Azar stood, his maw lightly agape in a sense of surprise and awe. “Azar…? Wh-What are you doing all the way up here?”

This was someone he definitely hadn't counted on running into.
