I didn't see where they could confuse a coyote's prints with a M.L.'s. Unless the coyote was HUGE and there were toenail marks I don't see how they could come to that conclusion; especially since the officials who sent the prints off for identification should have been educated enough to know whether or not it was feline or canine.
