"Are you happy here, Zhenya?" Felony's question rattles around in her brain, and the buckskin mare finds herself slightly taken aback. She quickly shakes the feeling. "If I wasn't happy, I would have made it very clear." she says, and her words are the truth. If she had found herself discontented with her home, she would have made it known before slipping away the first chance she got. Or, more likely, she would have just asked Impazienza to steal her away or fight for her freedom. Though her options were limited, she would have figured out a way eventually. It wasn't that hard.

Of course, she had absolutely no plans to leave anytime soon. "I enjoy being here." she continues, her voice soft and honest. "You are a better keeper than any other I've been with." Which, so far, was only three, including the dirty bay in front of her. However, compared to Soljor and Lyden, Felony was an improvement. Lyden had been so obsessed with obtaining the dainty cream-colored mare, he had barely interacted with Zhenya. Soljor she couldn't put any blame on - she had actively avoided him up until the time he told her she was being traded away again.

"I plan to stay right here, until you get tired of me and send me away again." Her tone is mostly joking, but there in a hint of worry behind the syllables and in the gleam of her eyes. The buckskin's lips press into a thin, mirthless smirk, scanning Felony's face for any signs of displeasure at her words. She'd been able to avoid his anger, so far, but how long would that last? Eventually she would manage to provoke him somehow and become the next victim of his rage. It was really only a matter of time.

She shuffles around, coming to stand next to him, only a few inches of separation between their bodies. She gazes out over the small pool, occasionally taking a moment to glance towards Felony. Was that what he had wanted to speak to her about? Whether or not she was content in the Lagoon? Or was there something more pressing at hand, yet to be spoken of?
