tethered by the sea;

Strangely Cat doesn't startle at the sound of another horse approaching, but maybe that was because her mind was in a totally different place. She does however take the time to listen to the girl who she knew now by her voice as the same mare who helped her before.

Cat doesn't speak right away, waiting till the girl was fully done talking to look up. Freya, she repeats in her head while eying the girl up and down. It was simple and pretty, and also suited the tall mare. Cat can't help the small smile that slides across her own lips at Freya's own grin. The palomino knew she hadn't answered the question on her foreign object but it was best to get the greetings out of the way before launching into an explanation that could take a while. Though as Cat goes to speak her own name and how well she had fared since their last meeting another horse decides to join them.

Her delicate nose picks up on a male's scent and before you know it she is up against Miss Freya's side, away from the brute of course. She cautiously peeks around her companions shoulder, blue orbs looking over the beast that had disturbed them. Cat had been expecting a much bigger stallion than what actually stood before the girl's, and her eyes widened even more, if that were possible, at the pony that approaches.

He asks the same questions Freya did, and Cat breathes out a sigh, happy he stayed where he was and didn't seem to have a mean streak like the one red brute she had encountered. "I'm Catalán," she nervously says, glancing down at the ground, a better option than looking at the other two horses again. They probably thought she was weird, and she was in her own cute nervous wreck of a way.

With her blue orbs focused on the ground she remembers they had both clearly questioned her object. Without another thought she darts back over to the metal, nudging it gently with a hoof. Now she finally looks up with a little glimmer of happiness swirling in her eyes. Nothing made the lass happier than getting a chance to talk of things from her home. "This is a horseshoe. My people put them on me to protect my hoofs. I had four but i guess traveling knocked all the others off," she muses, and then shakes her head before glancing at both of the other horses, her gaze lingering on Freya the longest. She found better companionship with women, not men.

"You two don't know anything about humans do you? Those things that walk on two legs instead of four," her head sort of sits at an angle as she examines them each. They really had no clue.

"I'd be happy to tell you more but first," she pauses and braces herself as she fully looks at the short stallion, "you haven't told me your name so i refuse to tell anything to a stranger." What a brat, she hardly acted her true age. Cat was known for her multiple personalities, and her wide variety of fears. Not such a pretty mix when your on the receiving end, everything just seemed plain weird with her.
