Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Pilar wasn’t sure what happened.

One moment she was racing Kasabian (and winning, mind you) to the Paradise and the next she was here, swept up and carried away like a leaf in a storm. Pilar looked around the Lagoon, her odd ears turned backward and forward, swiveling in every direction as she tried to figure out just why she’d been brought here. All she remembered was a creamy golden figure. He didn’t give his name, or say anything really, and now the seal brown Marwari girl was here.

“Uhh, hello?” Pilar called out, her head feeling a bit woozy as she stood on the beach. Maybe she was dreaming. This place certainly looked like it could have been from a dream. The lagoon itself was very bright—the water lurid and almost glowing in the autumn sunlight. Yet as her eyes wandered further inland she noticed the thick jungle and the deep mud, torn up by what appeared to be many sets of hooves that ripped through it. She wrinkled her nose with wariness. Apparently, a lot of horses live here.

She flicked her tail back and forth impatiently, the sounds of insects chirping in the jungle nearby the chorus to her confusion.

“Is anybody there?”
