Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

As the scream echoed throughout the Lagoon; Xina only heard one voice in return. Debonaire’s last cry resonated within her head and the mare dropped her head, knees buckling as she fell somewhat into the solid frozen ground. But with her hind hooves firmly planted she remained somewhat standing and quickly she regained herself and pushed up until she was standing once more. Tossing her head she nearly reared when movement caught her attention away from the death that filled her mind.

Part of the herd.... part of the family......

Dia. She was the whole reason behind Xina being here. Wheeling around to face the pale mare, Xina’s ears pushed forward and her wild eyes studied the mare. Overall Dia seemed fine despite the reek of stallion and Lagoon upon her skin. But to Xina blood smeared across her light skin and death hung to her much like it had to everything since that day. With eyes wide, that crazed look still filling her gaze she couldn’t help but to take a few steps back from Dia.

“He’s gone.” She said, a panic filling her tone. “You must return. You cannot let your boy face the same fate! You must rescue him! Don’t let the sands take him!”

Xina did not realize that her words made no sense, that it was obvious to others that she had completely lost all sense. The roan mare was a mental case and the safest thing for her now in her old age was to be put down. But alas in her state she had not lost her strength; it had only emboldened her and she dared for any stallion to arrival now. She would make them just as bloody as Dia was now. Xina would peel away their hide and leave them to a slow and painful death.

Part of the herd.... part of the family......

“The herd has scattered like the sands of time. We must reunite the family or we will all perish.”
