Re(2): Great new article on current cougar "border jumpers"

Just by chance, I posted an item on Cougar Rewilding's Facebook yesterday - https://www.facebook.com/CougarRewilding . The nearest confirmed breeding population in Canada is in the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. I am keeping track via Google news alerts and combing the Net as best I can. I know of only two solid confirmations in Saskatchewan and Manitoba since 2012. I don't know of any in Ontario last year. I have played and replayed a video taken on Manitoulin Island and have decided the animal is more likely a wolf. If cougars are indeed recolonizing the NE US via eastern Canada, why are there so few solid confirmations? Apparently, there are fewer than 10 years ago.
