Over the last few days the draft brute had noticed the change in his darling daughter Soda. She didn't seem so happy or very cheerful, and he understood a little of what she was going through. Like her, he missed his other kids and the love of his life. Soda had been abandoned multiple times, and luckily this time Jabs was around for her. She was not going to be alone again he decides, his mind already plotting.

When Soda decides to head up into the Ridge itself for some alone time later on that day, Jabs does his daily thing of walking the borders of his old home. It was truly boring, but soon Jabs would venture out to meet the new and hopefully familiar faces of the islands. He couldn't wait. With a grin upon his dark lips as he pranced along, not at all graceful given his heavy size, he continued on. When the loud sound of someone announcing their presence finally came to his ears he halted, lifting his head up with ears tilting towards the source before he decides to quickly set off toward it.

What greeted his sights as he moved to the lower rocky ground that led up into the Ridge itself was a pretty little, her markings looking like that of a paint horse but he also saw the roan as well. She was quite a beauty, and Jabs could not hold back the smile that graces his lips. She carried the scent of another male so Jabs was sure to keep a respectful distance but it didn't stop him from eying her up and down and then stretching his nose out in greeting.

"Hello there missy," his voice was not very deep and was clear as he spoke, "what brings such a pretty thing to the Ridge?".
