[.Lionhearts and Misfits.]

There was perhaps some possibility and promise to this isle of Tinuvel. He had dared the swim by night, guided by starlight and the light of the full moon. The sea at springtime was calm for once though perhaps not many would brave the swim through black waters. Al-Sarim preferred travel by night, which made of course for more poetic tales to add to his impressive repertoire. The salty sea dripped from his mug, his barrel, traced lines down his limbs and streaked across his face and body. Hooves had met the dark and pebble littered sands of Tinuvel. The dark sahib appeared almost black now eve by the light of the moon, and he shook himself off before moving to trot down the shore. His frame was a bit tired, but he knew better than to lay down and sleep where he had landed. Morning would come and he needed to be ready for anything. He stopped when he deemed his surrounding secluded, undisturbed. There he supped and said his evening prayers before bedding down for the night.

He rose before dawn and offered another prayer to the god Calliphus, ate a small meal and then pressed deeper inland of the isle. The sea in his nares had dried now and he could took in the scents of Tinuvel, before long inhabitants could be identified. Al-Sarim had to smile as he pressed with a something of more urgency, one presence in particular catching his interest. The sahib moved like a hunter after prey, keeping downwind and drawing a mental map of the land as he went. He came to know of a bay on the other end of the isle but he stayed a day more before venturing into the area.

The morning he arrived in the Bay he was rather lively, animated and refreshed. The one he had identified the other day was Nephilim, the young steed he met on Crossing Isle with the two fillies. He could have hailed him from the borders, but in his own bold fashion he let himself into the Bay and waited to see what sort of welcome he might receive.
