Her paws navigated the wet, but not frozen rocks with ease. Her coat was not in the best shape, a slight duvet in it where she had rubbed more outer fur off. No, it was not healthy to actually be doing any of this, but then again, maybe Amber should never ever be this far south. To defy nature, it appeared that would include defying her health a little bit. At least in the way of sleek coats, that was. Of course, with enough work, the coat began to shine once more like it did. As if arctic snow.
With so many ledges and so much ice, it was a real pain to travel over them. Every possible one might break and send her into the water around her. She was hungry and tired. This she-wolf did not plan to be hungry, tried, cold AND wet. With a sigh, the female wolf dropped down and walked through one of the many streams. Amber currently did not care that her scent trail might as well have been lined with orange traffic cones with a neon flashing light on top of each. She just wanted to keep moving, and fast, towards the woods and fields.
Taika was somewhere, and she'd need more help than a stalker could offer. Or so she assumed.
