Within the last month I asked Gauthier for an update on the Quebec situation. With the exception of a single video taken near the Ontario border in December 2015, there are no recent confirmations. Gauthier said the government of Quebec is not interested in funding further searching for cougars. I posted an update on the Klandagi Facebook on May 16th. (I only recently learned there is a "search slot" in the left column of Facebooks. If you use it with a search word, such as "Quebec," it quickly takes you to posts with the desired word.)
