Her fur helped her in blending almost perfectly with the snow around her. As light danced off the reflecting white so it danced off her fur, occasionally highlighting the flecks of color sprinkled throughout her coat. It was pleasant, to be able to move through the lands at a brisk pace and know that her body nearly vanished into the surrounding area.

It had not always been so. As a pup she had gotten lost, and seemed to have completely vanished off the earth. Now she was back, and she was her own soul with her own life to create. At least, so she thought. Her family seemed to have vanished from the world and she had been left alone. She grinned to herself. This was not entirely a lose to her. She had taken it in stride and moved on. The ideals and goals of her family did not press on her mind, their lives did not reign over her’s.

There was always one presence in her mind that stuck out to her. The wolf who had saved her years ago from the jaws of madwoman. She still could not comprehend what had happened that day, nor why those jaws had nipped at her heels. Madness, it seemed was a fate that gripped some and merely caressed others. But Zeus had been there, had protected her as a pup and showed her a sight that she would never forget. The storms that raged above them had brought awe to her eyes and power to her thoughts. The lightning that flashed through the skies had let up her life and her dreams as well. She always stopped to watch as the world stormed around her.

Inanna hoped to find him again. The friend who had always been there for her.

Adolescent limbs stretched into an easy lope over the terrain. She did not know where exactly she was going, but figured she did have the freedom to run. So she did. Through the fields and along the frozen river. She remembered the year of being lost and quivering in these places in search for food and warmth. The crags specifically had been a place she had curled up in her first winter of life, shivering and scared. She had vanished in the snow and the shadows, just as she stood in them now.

Black nose twitched and a white lip curled over a pearly fang at the thought. She would not be in such a place ever again. About to dash to continue her trek, she froze at the sound of a voice, a voice she knew well.

Grinning wickedly, she bound over to where the big white wolf was cursing the nature around him.

Now, the snow isn’t that bad! She mused with a grin, her tail wagging. Not for someone as you! Duo colored eyes looked at him, blind to his age, wounds, and worldly holdings. To her, he was a savior deity. She had grown much since the last time she had seen him. Coming into her third year of life, she was almost grown into herself. Body becoming balanced, and full. She was no longer the fluff ball she had been, but she was growing into be a promise of serene beauty, a disguised force to be reckoned with.
