“Woah, woah, woah!” Was all Psychedelic could say as action exploded around them. First had come an impossibly large black mare to try and bully him down (without the intervening pair of the bay mare and Kendry this exchange would have quickly turned ugly); then the little bay mare had begged them not to fight; then Kendry had suddenly shouldered his way in quite literally as he bumped Psychedelic, who stumbled to the side. “Jesus, Kendry.” He said, “Mind the little people.” His remark was a jest after he’d caught his bearings again and turned his head to look back at the trio. “The little klutz is right,” he snapped, narrowing amber eyes at the big black mare. He’d had to literally walk around Kendry just so he could see everyone again. “Do you not know how to take a joke? When someone falls, it’s funny. If I fell on my face, I’d expect you to laugh too.” His tone wasn’t as kind as it had been when he’d addressed Kendry, it certainly held a bite to it. Being shoved and bullied wasn’t exactly the way to make friends and Psychedelic wasn’t interested in apologizing for his behavior. His ears flicked and he looked at the little mare. “A klutz is someone who falls… uh, someone who’s clumsy?” He said, wondering if her language (whatever that was) had a translation for the word. He didn’t know anything spare the common tongue and had little interest in learning anything foreign. He blinked. “And you ate the ground when you fell.” A bit of a smile threatened to twitch over the corners of his mouth but one glance to the black mare got rid of it immediately.
