I saw(without a doubt)a mountain lion crossing the road near the Chicopee River in Chicopee Mass about three years ago around 5:00 pm while delivering mail on my postal route. What I remember most was how big a animal this was and the tail was incredibly long. Told a friend and he thought I was nuts. A very big beautiful animal with golden colored hair. It was low to the ground as it scampered across the road into the woods. It's tail alone looked almost as long as it's body. Hope this helps you.
