Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

DAUGHTER OF THE GODS

Reginleif lurched forward with a snort as the white mare collided with her rump, yet still managed to awkwardly kick out at the mare. If the white mare wanted to be beside the stallion, it was he who would have to move as Reginleif would concede no ground to anyone. She did not strike out again when the mare pushed, however, only flattened her ears and flashed her teeth at the mare and would only attempt to actually find flesh if she pushed too hard.

The red-freckled mare could sense the shift in the stallion’s mood, his fear suddenly replaced by a dark, sinister cloud. That fact did not bother Reginleif, if anything she’d like to see the colt grow some kind of spine, but it was interesting all the same. Her tail snapped violently at the white mare spoke. “Didn’t say you had to, but I can chase you out, if you’d like.” she smirked, answering the mare’s challenge with something of a promise.

Kasabian’s voice broke her concentration at that moment and Reginleif spared him only the briefest of glances. She knew there would be no attack from him and that she only had to be on her guard for one from the two strangers. She did find the buckskin’s handling of the pair odd, however. He was not acting how she had assumed the boss of the lagoon might act when presented with a new recruit and a possible prize, but this was far more entertaining. Perhaps that was why Reginleif wasn’t in leadership.

[ooc]I'm so tired, most of that probably doesn't make sense, soz
