Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

ARGENTO

Argento�s ears pricked with interest at the mention of the name Valentine. Briefly his eyes dropped to his counterpart�s body, lingering on the spots and patches of white that were so bold against the stallion�s dark coat, before once more making eye contact with a gaze as clear and blue as his own. There was a distinct dissimilarity in their build and height, but that was nothing that could not be explained away by different maternal lineage.

But Argento suppressed his growing curiosity initially, choosing to address Paradiso�s last comment before he began pried any more. With a wry smile, he tilted his head and replied, �Do you see any troublemakers around here, friend? I know the terrible reputation you speak of, but since I came here not long ago, it has been meek and quiet as a mouse. It seems the rogues of days before, who gave this place its bad name, moved on some time ago. Which suits me just fine, if I might add. Light-hearted mischief is one thing, but I�ve never had a taste for cruel and unnecessary harassment. It has been awfully lonely without them, of course.�

He hesitated before continuing. �Forgive me for prying, but did you say your father�s name was Valentine?�
