Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Things changed. They always changed. Nothing ever stays the same for long. Iromar was a cursed place. First his mother was killed there, and then they had to move to Asteraia. Aster rose to alpha but decided to move back to Iromar once Pine took over. Now? Again? Evil has come to destroy what is Iromar? He had to leave so quickly. He saw the darkness and felt the unnerving auras from those wolves that came. He wanted nothing to do with them.

But where would he go? He was so unsure and whined as I stepped out of Iromar and into the crags. He didn’t like moving around. He needed consistency. He needed stability. He needed so much and didn’t know how to obtain such things. His thoughts were everywhere for a moment as he lay low with tail between his legs. He was among foreign rocks in a place he didn’t know. His mis-matched eyes looked around, and thought of the one place he wanted to be.

He almost thought that her voice was an illusion in his thoughts that he should go to Taviora. His white ears wiggled in response. Wait...it was real, his ears wiggled. He lifted his head out from the rocks very slowly and cautiously. He began to feel her presence here. As much as it was a beacon, a light of hope, it was one of worry and weariness. Had she been worrying about him?

He hears her again and this time he is able to pinpoint her. He lifts his head all the way now and sees her as she looks between rocks. ”Z-Zelda!” he calls out, then lowering his head again as he looks back and forth to make sure no one else heard. ”Over here,” he calls out gently before moving towards her, his body still close to the ground but a small, very slight smile crawling onto his face at the sight of her despite the fact that he was confused and kicked out his home once again.

”I-I-I am so g-g-glad to see you...b-but what are you doing here?” he asks as he gets closer, his body twitching in reaction to some harmless noise in the distance of branches moving. She was here, and he felt such a great sense of comfort with it. Almost like he was home and where he belonged. This was his fate, right here, but the last thing he wanted to do was impose himself upon her. Yet, she was calling out for HIM? Him! But why? It made him so happy that the tip of his tail wagged slightly between his legs, but he couldn’t help but wonder why the Queen of Taviora was seeking one such as him out.
